Neal Sondheimer
Medical Director at Synlogic

Neal Sondheimer, MD, PhD is a Medical Director at Synlogic responsible for the PKU and HCU programs. He also serves as the Medical Director for the PKU Clinic at SickKids Hospital Toronto and is a member of the faculty of Molecular Genetics and Pediatrics at the University of Toronto. 
Dr. Sondheimer received his medical degree and Ph.D. at The University of Chicago. His post-graduate medical education was at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and he specialized in Pediatrics, Clinical Genetics and Metabolic Genetics.
