Vik Pandit has a MASc in Chemical Engineering and a PhD in Metabolic Engineering from the University of Toronto.  He is the CEO and co-founder of Phycus Biotechnologies Inc., a company that he spun out of the University of Toronto after completing his PhD studies in 2017.  Phycus is sustainable manufacturer of ingredients for the cosmetics and personal care industry.  Its first sustainable ingredient is a 100% biobased glycolic acid for skincare products.
