Andrew is a Biochemical Engineer and holds a Master’s of Biotechnology from the University of Toronto. He has over 10 years of experience in the biotech field, working in the areas of vaccine manufacturing, process development & scale-up, facility design, and validation. 
At Genecis, Andrew is the Director of Fermentation, leading the strain engineering, process development, and process engineering teams. He is passionate about scaling processes from the bench to commercial manufacturing, optimizing and automating manufacturing, and implementing next-generation technologies for process monitoring.
